The Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (K-SOTTO) is instituted by the Government of Kerala Vide G.O (Ms.)No.146/2021/H&FWD dated 06/08/2021, as an umbrella organization to regulate the human organ transplant program by exercising powers conferred by the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act1994 and the Transplantation of Human organs and Tissues Rules 2014. The K-SOTTO is registered as a charitable organization under the Travancore Literary Scientific Society Act 1955.
